Professional Photographers and Videographers

Professional, promotional, or other commercial photography and videography are prohibited unless approved in advance. All photographers and videographers must submit their request two (2) weeks in advance and may only photograph/film upon receiving written permission from the Board of Trustees of Laura Ingalls Wilder Home Association (LIWHA).  Do not seek verbal approval from staff or volunteers upon your visit to the Wilder Farm.

LIWHA reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withhold and/or withdraw permission to shoot on its premises. LIWHA staff has the authority to approach anyone suspected of conducting a photography or video shoot and to enforce these rules. Failure to comply may result in removal from the premises.

LIWHA may photograph or videotape its public programs for educational, archival, and publicity purposes. Unless you notify the photographer otherwise, your attendance at a program grants LIWHA permission to display and/or publish any photograph in which you appear.  These photographs may be used in any and all of LIWHA’s publications and in any and all other media without limitation or reservation, and are not subject to compensation. These materials will become the property of the LIWHA, which owns the Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum (“Rocky Ridge Farm”).
