Opportunities for Educators
The Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum is always creating new, immersive, interactive experiences for students to explore and learn.
The Traveling Tablet Program/Virtual Tour
The Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum is now proud to offer a new program for schools that are incorporating Mrs. Wilder into their curriculum. Mrs. Wilder began writing her beloved books on Big Chief tablets in 1927. The concept of a “tablet” has changed greatly since then, and school children use them differently today.
In celebration of the “tablet”, the Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum is creating immersive, interactive experiences for students to explore using the modern electronic tablet. These experiences include video tours, touch and learn experiences and games. The experiences can be customized to your school’s specific curriculum.
